I sincerely feel sorry for your friend. Is it really possible to treat children like that? It's just awful! If her father were in my house, I'd be ready to kill him. And indeed, the system is often unfair. I hope her father is already in prison. If not, then I'm surprised that such a scumbag who sexually abused her 6-9 year old daughter is still walking free. And I'm especially surprised (if he is still free) that the system (or most likely the government) hasn't dealt with this idiot.

Today my close friend told me that her own dad SA’d her when she was between 6 and 9 years old. And the worst part? This isn’t even the first time I’ve heard something like this. It just makes me sick.
I’m disgusted by people who actually think it’s okay to treat kids like that.
I’m disgusted by the system that can’t even keep a child safe.
And honestly, I’m disgusted with myself for not being able to do anything to help her because we’re so far apart.
If anyone ever dares to tell me “there’s justice in the world,” I swear I’ll spit in their face.
There was no justice. There isn’t any. And honestly, it feels like there never will be.
